4. More Sophisticated Scheduling
This is a much more sophisticated scheduling screen that is used for a holiday booking firm. The top half of the screen is used to select search criteria (such as the size of the property required, it's location, etc.). The matching properties are displayed in the main (graphical) part of the screen, the left hand side showing the summary text information and the remainder the bookings. This graphical bookings area uses different coloured blocks (yellow, red, green, cyan, etc) to indicate different types of booking (confirmed, pre-booked, option, unavailable, etc.). The display is interactive; you can click on a booking to display further details about the booking and you can create a booking by clicking and dragging over the grid. Booking start and end days are indicated by square brackets so that concurrent bookings of the same type can be identified separately.
